Passola Rebuilt - exhaust operation episode 1
due to unforeseen circumstances, i'm guessing that this would be my last post related to the passola rebuilt, my last job was trying to improve the passola exhaust performance, in order to understand how this bike exhaust working, i've finally cut the exhaust into halves and explore what's so special about the exhaust. it is quite amusing on how the yamaha engineer built the exhaust. the following shows the exhaust cutaway section of a passola engine. i'm still in the middle of figuring the best tuned pipe for the bike as it will definitely takes some time to get this correct. as a wrong calculation would affect the performance of the engine and to make matter worst, would cause the engine to overheat.
