Appreciation in Khat - Arabic Calligraphy..

Khat or the arabic calligraphy is something not easy to learn. you'll need to go through the basic learning or the arabic alphabets. there are 29 arabic alphabet characters which you'll need to master prior to start the calligraphy. you'll also need to learn to pronounce and spell it correctly in order for your to draft out the calligraphy.

although that there's more, there are 4 popular khat style which having their own unique art.
1. Khat Thuluth
2. Khat Nasakh
3. Khat Diwani
4. Khat Kufi

the khat is an art of it's own, not all, but there's only a few people could fully understand the whole things and comes out with a nice khat.

every art has its own tool like you'll need pencil for sketching, same goes to Khat. There's a few shop selling those pens  or you can make the pens on your own. the ink? you can use any medium as you like for the ink as long you know how to control it.
